It’s
a family affair and a team effort.
Mashozi – My wife Gill, we have been married for over 40 years.
All paperwork, visas, passports, money and supplies. She is the
bursar, the cook and the Mama of the expeditions.
Ross – My Son, My Right Hand Man. All the technical stuff,
navigation, logistics, the best man to have around when things get
tough. He is also the documentary film-maker.
Anna – My Daughter In Law. All the reports the blogs, and
the onerous tasks of turning my scribbles in the expedition journal
into a book.
Tristan – Our Grandson, the expedition mascot. One day others
will follow in his footsteps.
Bruce – Expedition stills photographer, he volunteered for
one expedition and has been with us for 5 years.
Babu – Our Mozambican Portuguese interpreter and malaria educator
he speaks several African languages.
Lumbaya – A Turkana Tribesman from Loyangalani in Northern
Kenya – he has been everywhere with us.
Humanitarian
Volunteers, Journalists and Sponsors – Without whom we could
never succeed.
